Cook delicious, seasonal dishes and enjoy the cozy season. Whether in a luxurious KitchenFirst luxury kitchen or in a cozy country-style family kitchen, autumn brings a variety of recipe ideas that bring both taste and elegance to your kitchen. In this article, we present you three irresistible autumn recipes.

The perfected pumpkin soup

Nothing embodies autumn better than a warming and spicy pumpkin soup. Not only is it incredibly delicious, but it's also easy to prepare - perfect for your stylish luxury kitchen from KitchenFirst.

What you need:

  • 1 Hokkaido pumpkin (1-2kg)
  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • Garlic (amount according to preference)
  • 1 litre vegetable stock
  • 200 ml creamy coconut milk
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • Pumpkin seed oil

Preparation is super easy with your new luxury kitchen from KitchenFirst. First, cut the pumpkin, sweet potatoes, onion and garlic into small pieces and fry them in a large pot. First, fry the onion and garlic until translucent in plenty of olive oil until the pumpkin and sweet potatoes are added. This mixture is then deglazed with vegetable stock. Now you can let the pot simmer for around 20 minutes until the vegetables are soft. To make the soup as creamy as possible, the vegetables are now pureed. The coconut milk is added and the spices are refined to taste. Before serving, you can garnish the delicious pumpkin soup with pumpkin seed oil and optionally serve with baguette. Enjoy!

The real luxury: Chanterelle Pasta

Chanterelles are a true highlight of the autumn season. Combined with fresh pasta, you can create a gourmet dish that is perfect for preparing in your luxury kitchen. This chanterelle pasta brings out the mushrooms' delicate flavour to its fullest.

The ingredients:

  • 250 g fresh chanterelles
  • 300 g fresh pasta (tagliatelle)
  • 1 shallot
  • Garlic (amount according to preference)
  • 150 ml cream
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • Salt, pepper
  • Butter, olive oil

First, you should cook the pasta in well-salted water until it is al dente. In the meantime, clean the chanterelles thoroughly, finely chop the shallot and garlic. Fry the shallots and garlic in olive oil until translucent, then add the chanterelles. Fry these for just 5 minutes, then add the cream and bring to the boil briefly. Now you can season the chanterelle sauce with salt and pepper. The cooked pasta is then folded into the chanterelle sauce and sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan. And you have autumn on your plate!

Onion cake - hearty and autumnal

The traditional onion cake is always a hit in the fall! It's the perfect accompaniment to a glass of Federweißer in your new island kitchen with friends.

This is what you need:

  • 500 g onions
  • 200 g bacon cubes
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50g butter
  • Salt, butter, nutmeg
  • Fresh thyme

Knead the mixture of flour, butter and egg, as well as a pinch of salt, into a dough, which you then chill for 30 minutes. In the meantime, peel the onions, cut them into rings and sauté them in a pan with butter until translucent. Briefly fry the bacon. Roll out the now cold dough and place it in a greased quiche dish and prick the dough several times with a fork. Whisk the egg with the cream and season the mixture with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spread the bacon and onions on the dough, then pour the cream and egg over it. Now the onion tart must be baked at 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
